One of my favorite things about Jensen Huang isn't NVIDIA.
It isn’t artificial intelligence, it isn’t data centers, it isn’t chips, and isn’t even the company he built.
→ It’s the jacket.
If you’ve ever watched Jensen give a keynote, you’ve probably noticed it.
The black leather jacket. Always.
At first, I assumed it was just his style, but the more I watched him, the more I realized it was something else.
It was a uniform and that idea has always stayed with me.
I spent my entire childhood wearing a uniform.
Catholic school.
Elementary through high school.
Ice hockey.
Same structure.
Same routine.
Same decision removed every morning before the day even started.
At the time, I couldn’t wait to graduate.
I thought freedom meant finally choosing what I wanted to wear every day.
Then graduation came and I realized something annoying, I hated it.
Every morning started with the same question:
“What am I going to wear today?”
It sounds small, but small decisions add up.
What shirt?
What shorts?
What shoes?
Does this match?
Is this clean?
Do I need something different today?
Eventually, I realized I didn’t want more choices.
I wanted fewer.
So without really planning it, I created my own uniform.
Black shirt and Nike shorts. That’s it.
Simple, comfortable, and most importantly...I never have to think about it.
The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve noticed how many high-performing people do the same thing.
Steve Jobs had the black turtleneck.
Mark Zuckerberg became known for the gray T-shirt.
Jensen Huang has the black leather jacket.
At first glance, it looks like fashion.
I don’t think it is. I think it’s focus.
Every decision you eliminate is one less decision stealing energy from the things that actually matter.
The goal isn’t the jacket. The jacket is just the symbol.
→ The goal is protecting your attention.
That idea followed me all week.
Not just because of Jensen, but because of Nurse in the Market.
Last weekend, I redesigned the publication homepage.
For months, it had a clean white background.
It was fine, professional enough, and simple enough.
However, something always felt off and I couldn’t explain it.
It didn’t feel bad. It just didn’t feel like me.
So I made one change.
I switched the background to black.
Then I refreshed the page and I just sat there looking at it.
For the first time...it didn’t feel like I was building a newsletter.
It felt like I was building a brand.
Not because the writing changed, not because the research changed, and not because the charts changed.
Because the identity changed.
The black background made everything feel sharper, more confident, more grounded, and more aligned with the world I’ve been building.
The Basquiat-inspired thumbnails finally looked like they belonged there.
The green crown stood out.
The charts felt more intentional.
The whole thing had more edge.
Suddenly, I wanted to write, I wanted to publish, and I wanted to keep building.
And that’s when I started thinking about Jensen again because great leaders build recognizable identities.
People recognize them before they even speak.
Great companies do the same.
Consistency creates trust.
Identity creates recognition.
Focus creates execution.
And while I was thinking about Jensen Huang’s uniform, I started looking at his company again.
I had several names on my watchlist this week.
→ Archer Aviation ACHR 0.00%↑ looked good here.
→ L3Harris LHX 0.00%↑ had a strong setup.
A few others almost made the cut, but one chart kept pulling me back.
One valuation stood out, the company kept separating itself from the rest, and once again, it was led by the man in the black leather jacket.
This week’s Top Pick of the Week is NVIDIA Corp NVDA 0.00%↑ .
Here’s the setup →
What Makes NVIDIA Different?
When most people think about NVDA, they think about graphics cards.
That’s where the company started.
For years, NVDA was known for designing graphics processing units (GPUs) that transformed gaming and computer graphics.
Today, that description barely scratches the surface.
NVDA has evolved into one of the most important infrastructure companies in the world.
Every time an AI model is trained...
Every time a hyperscale data center expands...
Every time a frontier model becomes larger and more capable...
There’s a good chance NVDA technology is working behind the scenes.
That’s what makes this company so fascinating to me.
NVDA isn’t simply participating in the artificial intelligence revolution.
It’s helping build the infrastructure that makes the revolution possible.
The Modern-Day Picks and Shovels
During the California Gold Rush, most people remember the miners.
Far fewer remember the companies selling the picks and shovels.
Yet many of those businesses prospered regardless of who actually found gold.
I think NVDA occupies a similar position today.
Whether artificial intelligence transforms:
Healthcare
Finance
Manufacturing
Cybersecurity
Scientific research
Autonomous vehicles
Robotics.
Someone still needs the computing power to train those systems and someone still needs the networking.
The software.
The accelerated computing.
The infrastructure.
That’s where NVDA comes in.
To me, this isn’t simply a chip company.
It’s one of the companies building the foundation of the AI economy.
Jensen Huang Saw It Before Everyone Else
One of the things I admire most about Jensen Huang isn’t just that he built an extraordinary company.
It’s that he spent years investing in a future most people couldn’t see yet.
Long before artificial intelligence became today’s biggest investment theme, NVDA was investing billions of dollars into accelerated computing, networking, software, and AI infrastructure.
At the time, many people questioned those investments.
Some thought the company was spending too aggressively and others believed AI would remain a niche market.
Today, those decisions look remarkably different.
While many companies are now racing to catch up, NVDA spent years quietly building the ecosystem they now depend on.
→ That’s one of the biggest reasons I continue believing NVDA has such a powerful competitive position.
It wasn’t built overnight.
It was built long before the rest of the world realized where artificial intelligence was heading.
Why This Trade Feels Different
Every week, I sit down with the same process.
I review charts.
I compare valuations.
I study technical setups.
I read Barron’s.
And then I ask myself one simple question:
“If I could only choose one company this week, which one would it be?”
This week, I looked at several businesses I genuinely liked.
Archer Aviation ACHR 0.00%↑ had a great setup.
L3Harris LHX 0.00%↑ offered an attractive defense thesis.
A few others nearly made the cut, but every time I finished my research, I found myself coming back to NVDA.
Not because it was the loudest story and not because everyone else was talking about it.
Because it checked every box I look for.
A world-class business.
An exceptional management team.
A transformational industry.
An improving technical setup.
According to Morningstar’s fair value estimate of $280, it’s a valuation that appears more attractive than many investors might expect.
Those opportunities don’t appear every week.
When they do, I pay attention.
Why Invest In NVDA Right Now?
1. Attractive Valuation
Morningstar fair value: $280
Approximately 30% undervalued
High-quality company trading below fair value
It's not often you find one of the highest-quality technology companies in the world trading below what many analysts believe it's worth.
That's exactly the type of setup I look for.
2. A Bullish Technical Setup
Above the 200-day SMA
Reclaimed the 20-day SMA
Momentum building
Potential breakout underway
3. World-Class Leadership
I invest in people as much as I invest in businesses.
Jensen Huang has spent decades building NVDA into one of the world’s most important technology companies.
His long-term vision, disciplined execution, and relentless innovation are competitive advantages that don’t appear on a balance sheet.
4. NVDA Is Building AI Infrastructure
CUDA
Blackwell
Enterprise AI
Sovereign AI
Data centers
5. The Opportunity Extends Far Beyond AI
NVDA is involved in:
Healthcare
Drug discovery
Robotics
Autonomous vehicles
Manufacturing
Physical AI
6. Technical Analysis & Chart Markup
NVDA is entering a breakout signaled by price closing above its 20-day SMA.
The TSI has curled & crossed and the MACD histogram flipped to the bullish side signaling the momentum is in favor here.
Current Price: $204.12
Sector: Technology XLK 0.00%↑
Sub-sector: Semiconductors
Fair Value: $280 (30% discount here)
Entry Zone: $197-$205
Stop Loss Zone: $187.50
In other words:
→ this is an amazing buy & hold opportunity to pick up shares of NVDA, an undervalued / discounted stock to hold for the long-term, if not forever.
→ we can take a 2x leveraged swing trade in NVDL or NVDU for quicker price movements, cheaper share prices, smaller position sizes, and amplified gains (and, losses).
→ we can also position trade NVDA back to true value and beyond and make massive gains.
→ if you’re an experienced, astute trader, you can write option contracts on NVDA and do what you do and make exponential gains.
The Risk
No investment is without risk and NVDA is no exception.
Technology stocks can be volatile.
Expectations surrounding artificial intelligence remain incredibly high, and any slowdown in enterprise AI spending, cloud infrastructure investment, or data center expansion could create periods of meaningful volatility.
Competition is also intensifying.
Large technology companies continue investing billions into their own AI hardware and software ecosystems.
NVDA can’t afford to stand still.
Fortunately, standing still has never seemed to be part of Jensen Huang’s philosophy.
For more than three decades, NVDA has repeatedly reinvented itself—from gaming, to accelerated computing, to artificial intelligence, and now toward robotics and physical AI.
That doesn’t eliminate risk, but it reinforces something I care deeply about as an investor:
Leadership willing to keep building long after everyone else has caught on.
My Thesis
NVDA is my Top Pick of the Week because I believe it’s one of the highest-quality ways to participate in the artificial intelligence revolution.
This isn’t a speculative company hoping AI changes the world someday.
It’s one of the businesses already helping build that future today.
According to Morningstar, the stock appears to be trading below its fair value estimate.
The technical picture continues improving.
The company remains the clear leader in one of the most important technological shifts of our generation.
However, the reason I keep coming back to NVDA has less to do with today’s headlines.
→ It’s because I believe the company is becoming something much bigger than a chip designer.
→ I think it’s becoming critical infrastructure for the future of computing.
That’s a very different investment thesis and it’s one I believe still has years to play out.
Final Thoughts
When I first sat down to write this article, I thought it was going to be about NVDA.
Somewhere along the way, I realized it wasn’t.
It was about identity.
Jensen Huang didn’t become one of the world’s most respected CEOs because he wears a black leather jacket.
The jacket isn’t the reason.
It’s the reminder.
A reminder that consistency matters.
That eliminating distractions creates focus.
That the strongest brands don’t try to be everything to everyone.
They become unmistakably themselves.
Ironically, that’s exactly what happened to me last weekend.
Changing the Nurse in the Market homepage from white to black didn’t make me a better writer.
It didn’t improve my research and it didn’t change the quality of my analysis.
However, it changed something else.
For the first time, it felt like I wasn’t simply publishing articles.
→ I was building a brand.
One that finally reflected how I think, how I invest, and how I want this publication to grow.
The more I thought about that, the more I realized something.
The same principle applies to investing.
Great leaders build recognizable identities.
Great companies build recognizable brands.
Great investors build recognizable portfolios.
None of that happens overnight.
It happens through consistency, through discipline, and through showing up, over and over again, with a clear sense of purpose.
That’s what I admire about Jensen Huang. Not the jacket.
What the jacket represents.
Quiet confidence.
Long-term thinking.
The willingness to ignore distractions while everyone else is chasing the next shiny object.
Ironically, that’s exactly how I try to invest.
I don’t want fifty average companies, I don’t want to chase every headline, and I’m not interested in a stock everyone and their mom is talking about or temporaily obsessed with.
→ I’d rather own exceptional businesses with exceptional leadership and give them time to compound.
That’s why my research kept bringing me back to the same place this week.
The same company, the same leader, and the same quiet confidence.
Sometimes the best investment opportunities don’t come from finding something no one has ever heard of.
Sometimes they come from recognizing excellence while it’s temporarily trading below what you believe it’s worth.
That’s why NVDA earned this week’s Top Pick of the Week.
Stay one step ahead of the market.
Following a systematic approach, reading market structure, and staying disciplined compounds over time.
Let me know what you’re watching and thank you so much for reading! 🙌
